Love on Hamilton has gathered every Tuesday since 2014 at 75 John Street North. These are some of the places we keep bringing before God. Use them on a walk, in a prayer meeting, or from your kitchen.

Downtown and John Street North

This is where we meet at 7:00 PM. Pray for the people who already know our faces: those who come for a meal, those who ask for prayer, and those who walk past because church has hurt them. Pray for safety for volunteers and dignity for every person we meet. Ask God for conversations that are gentle and clear.

Gore Park and James Street North

Gore Park is a living room for the core. James Street North carries art, small business, and a lot of hidden pain. Pray for owners who are tired, for people who use the square as home, and for the church to be known here for presence rather than drive-by projects. Pray that beauty in the neighbourhood would point people toward the God who made them.

Barton Street and the east end

Barton has carried decades of neglect and also decades of stubborn neighbourly love. Pray for families, for recovery, for housing that is actually safe, and for churches along that corridor to stay faithful. Pray against despair. Ask God for workers who will stay longer than a single night.

The waterfront and the North End

Pray for people who work the harbour, for newcomers finding their feet, and for loneliness that hides behind a nice view. Ask God to make Hamilton's shoreline a place of rest, not only industry, and to give local believers courage to know their actual neighbours.

The Mountain, schools, and workplaces

The escarpment is not a different city. Students, nurses, tradespeople, and parents on the Mountain shape the whole region. Pray for schools, for hospital corridors, for factories and shops.
