How to Give Your Life to Jesus

The most important decision you will ever make is what you do with Jesus. Salvation is a free gift — received through repentance and faith in Christ alone.

The Gospel in plain language

God loves you and created you with purpose. But every person has sinned — we have fallen short of God's perfect standard. The penalty for sin is separation from God.

God demonstrated His love by sending Jesus Christ. Jesus lived a sinless life, died on the cross to pay for our sins, was buried, and rose again on the third day — conquering sin, death, and hell forever.

Salvation is not earned by good works. It is received as a gift when you repent — turn away from sin — and place your faith entirely in Jesus as your Lord and Savior.

A prayer of surrender

If you are ready, you can pray this from your heart right now:

"Lord Jesus, I know that I am a sinner. I believe You died on the cross for my sins and rose again. I repent of my sins and I turn to You. I surrender my life to You — all of it. Forgive me, cleanse me, and make me new. I receive You as my Lord and Savior. Fill me with Your Holy Spirit and lead me from this day forward. I am Yours. In Jesus' name, Amen."

If you prayed that prayer and meant it, heaven is rejoicing. Your life will never be the same. Welcome to the family of God.
