Plunder Hell, Populate Heaven: An Invitation to Partner With Us

By

Twelve years ago it was a few sandwiches on a Hamilton sidewalk. Now God is opening doors across Canada and beyond. Here's the vision ahead — and how you can stand with Daniel & Katie Ziedins through e3 Canada.

Twelve years ago it was a few sandwiches, a lot of nerves, and a sidewalk in downtown Hamilton. Katie and I didn't have a strategy. We had a conviction: every person matters to God, and the love of Jesus belongs in the streets.

We have watched the Lord do things since then that we could never have planned. Chains of addiction broken. Bodies healed. Men and women who had given up on themselves weeping as they met a Father who never gave up on them. Baptisms. Salvations. Week after week, in the cold and in the rain, God has been faithful.

And now He is widening the doors.

The gates of hell will not stand

"I will build my church, and the gates of Hades will not overcome it." — Matthew 16:18

Gates are defensive. They don't chase anyone. Jesus wasn't describing a church hiding behind walls, hoping to survive until He returns — He was describing a church on the move, walking straight up to the strongholds of darkness and watching them give way.

That's what we mean when we say plunder hell and populate heaven. It isn't bravado. It's the Great Commission taken seriously: every addiction, every lie, every hopeless story is ground the enemy is holding that belongs to Jesus. We go to take it back — not with force, but with love, prayer, practical care, and the power of the Gospel.

What God has been building

What began as Love on Hamilton has grown far beyond one street:

  • Weekly outreach in downtown Hamilton every Tuesday since 2014 — food, prayer, and the Gospel for people the world has forgotten.
  • Love on The World, carrying the same simple model to other cities, so ordinary believers can start consistent outreach where they live.
  • Training believers and churches to make evangelism a lifestyle, not an event — equip, activate, multiply.
  • Jesus Festival, gathering Hamilton to worship and lift up the name of Jesus together.
  • Partnering with e3 Canada and I Am Second to equip believers to evangelize and establish multiplying, life-changing churches across the nation.

The vision ahead

We believe Canada is on the brink of its greatest revival — and that every one of us has a part to play. The vision is bigger than any one ministry: outreach groups in city after city, ordinary believers equipped and sent, churches becoming sending hubs, and the people on the margins of our cities meeting Jesus face to face. Through Evangelize.World, the goal is 100 multiplying outreach groups — anywhere, everywhere.

That kind of vision doesn't run on enthusiasm. It runs on people who will stand underneath it.

This is a partnership, not a donation

"I thank my God every time I remember you… because of your partnership in the gospel from the first day until now." — Philippians 1:3–5

Paul didn't treat the believers in Philippi as donors. He called them partners — co-workers who shared in the fruit of everything God did through him. When Paul preached in a city they never visited, the fruit was credited to their account too (Philippians 4:17).

That is what we are inviting you into. Katie and I serve as missionary staff with e3 Ministry Canada. Monthly partners are the reason we can give ourselves fully to this work — to be on the streets, in the churches, and in the next city, rather than squeezing the Great Commission into whatever is left over.

"How, then, can they call on the one they have not believed in? And how can they believe in the one of whom they have not heard?… How beautiful are the feet of those who bring good news!" — Romans 10:14–15

Some are called to go. Some are called to send. Both are on mission, and both share in the harvest.

Three ways to stand with us

1. Pray. This comes first. Pray for open hearts on the streets, protection over our family, and boldness for the believers we are training. Pray Luke 10:2 with us: that the Lord of the harvest would send out more workers.

2. Partner. If the Lord puts it on your heart, become a monthly partner or give a one-time gift through our staff page at e3 Canada. Every gift is tax receipted, and every dollar helps carry the Gospel further. Read more on our partnership page.

3. Follow the journey. Get to know our story and see what God is doing next at KD-Ziedins.com. Share it with one person who loves Jesus and loves Canada.

The harvest is ready

"The harvest is plentiful but the workers are few. Ask the Lord of the harvest, therefore, to send out workers into his harvest field." — Luke 10:2

We don't know exactly where the next twelve years will take us. We know who goes before us, and we know the gates will not stand. If God is stirring something in you as you read this, don't brush it aside. Pray about it — and then come with us.

Let's plunder hell and populate heaven together, in Jesus' name.

— Daniel & Katie
